About HighlightForge
HighlightForge is a Windows app for League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics streamers. It turns a finished stream into a ready-to-upload YouTube highlight video: it finds the kills, multikills, teamfights, TFT rounds and augments, edits them into a 10–20 minute video with the strong swearing muted, and writes the thumbnails, titles and a description with chapters.
It's made by Amit Derri, an independent developer and League/TFT streamer. Contact: support@highlightforge.app.
Fair play
- HighlightForge never runs during a game. It only edits recordings of games that are already over.
- It never touches the game client: it doesn't read game memory, inject anything, automate play, or show anything over the game. It gives no advantage in a match.
- It works by looking at the video of your stream (the game screen and your voice), the same way a human editor would.
- It only works with your own streams and recordings. It isn't a tool for downloading or re-uploading other people's videos.
Riot Games content
- The videos it makes contain gameplay from the user's own recordings of League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics.
- Thumbnails can use champion art from Riot's public Data Dragon service, under Riot's Legal Jibber Jabber policy.
- The store version of HighlightForge doesn't call the Riot Games API.
- HighlightForge isn't endorsed by Riot Games, and it uses no Riot logos. League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics are named only to say which games it works with.
Free, and what Premium adds
- Every feature works on the free plan: 3 new videos a month, any length, with a small "Made with HighlightForge" mark.
- Premium (a monthly subscription) removes the monthly limit and the mark, and lets you design your own video styles. It doesn't unlock anything inside the games, and nothing about the games is sold.
- Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record.
