Something isn't working

In the app, open Settings → Help → Send a report. You'll see exactly what is sent (the app's recent log and setup check, with your user name and e-mail addresses hidden), and you'll get a reference number such as HF-7K2Q9XWD. Put it in your e-mail and we can look at what happened.

Common fixes

• A YouTube link stopped working. YouTube changes often. Open Settings → About → Update the YouTube downloader, or use your OBS recording instead (it always works).
• "Windows protected your PC" when installing. Click More info → Run anyway. It means Windows doesn't know the installer yet.
• Something is missing after install. Start menu → Repair HighlightForge downloads what's missing.
• The video has no AI titles. Add your free Gemini key in Settings. Without it, HighlightForge still works but writes simpler titles.
• Out of free videos. The count resets on the 1st of every month. Re-rendering a video you already made never counts again.

Your account

• Cancel or change Premium: Settings → Account → Manage subscription.
• Delete your account and its data: Settings → Account → Delete account.
• Read the privacy notice, the terms and the refund policy.
